Bridging the Gap
The Bridging the Gap series, developed in collaboration with the ADA Chair in Financial Law (Inclusive Finance), consists of concise two-page briefs designed to turn academic research into practical insights for professionals in inclusive and impact finance, as well as for regulators.
Produced by ADA’s Knowledge Management team, the series helps practitioners apply research findings to their work—informing decisions and anticipating sector developments. It also contributes to strengthening the impact of the Chair’s research by making it more accessible and actionable.
New editions are published regularly - approximately three to four times a year - depending on ongoing research and identified priority themes.
The topics covered include:
Financial law and its key concepts, particularly in emerging and developing country contexts
The measurement of financial inclusion and its impact
Applied research on the regulation of inclusive and/or sustainable finance, as well as financial technologies
The academic articles on which the series is based are authored by the ADA Chair’s academic team, led by Professor Dirk Zetzsche. The analyses reflect the views of their authors and do not necessarily represent the position of ADA.
TOWARDS AN EU IMPACT INVESTING FRAMEWORK
