Studies
This case study presents the experience gained and lessons learned from ADA’s projects for developing agroforestry financing solutions in Rwanda that were implemented in collaboration with Inkunga Finance and CIFOR‑ICRAF and supported financially by LuxDev.
This study shows that agroforestry finance is feasible and can bring benefits as long as it responds to farmers’ realities, is in line with the operational capacity of the participating microfinance institutions (MFIs) and benefits from a supportive policy framework. The document provides practical guidance for MFIs and other stakeholders wishing to design and implement inclusive agroforestry financing solutions.
